Why stay in a Villa? |

Staying in a hotel means that you are sharing your
vacation often with a few hundred other people. You
are often met with crowds in the pool, on the beach,
in the dining areas and all hotel rooms can be compact
and they look basically the same. Renting a villa assures
you of a luxury home.A more personalized service is
available to you and you will feel like you own a home
and know what it is like to actually live on this beautiful
and unique island of Jamaica! |

Does Belle Abri come with staff? |
| |
Yes renting Belle Abri villa comes with staff. Generally,
this includes a butler, chef, housekeeper,laundress
and gardener/houseman. |

Do I have to rent the whole villa? |
| |
Depending on time of the year of the stay and the
no. of guests, parts of the villa could be rented.The
unused bedrooms will not be rented out to anyone else. |

Are there any additional costs that we
should consider? |
| |
Additional costs may include food costs, excursions
or tours, rental of a car,security damage deposit (refundable
if no damage to villa), gratuity to staff and any other
costs you personally incur at the villa like Masseuse,
Spa treatments, Yoga instructors etc. International phone calls are also
extra so you may want to buy a phone card or give the
villa phone number to your relatives and friends so
that they may call you. Local phone calls are complementary.
All calls within North America are free. |

Can I use my cell phone in Jamaica? |

Two cell phones are provided and phone cards for them
can be purchased at the house. Jamaica’s cellular
system operates on the TDMA network. |

What is the electrical system in Jamaica? |

110 volts / 50 cycles We do not recommend you bringing
items requiring electricity if you are coming from Australia
or England. If you do intend to bring electrical items,
you will need the appropriate transformers and adapters.

What is the currency in Jamaica? |

The official currency in Jamaica is the Jamaican Dollar.
US dollars, and travellers cheques are widely accepted.

We have 10% of rent during high season and 15% of
rent during low season. These are to be given to the
staff at the end of your stay. |

Airport pick-up can be arranged at additional charges.
Please let us know in advance if you require pick-up

Safety and Security |
| |
Tourists in most parts of Jamaica don’t need
to worry about their safety any more than they normally
would at home or abroad. Like most large homes anywhere
in the world, Belle Abri is equipped with a state-of-the-art,
monitored security system. It’s also surrounded
by high walls with a locked gate. There’s a safe
in each bedroom . A security guard is on premises as
well. |

How is weather in Jamaica? |
| |
Jamaica is hot and humid year-round, with temperatures
rarely dropping below 80°F (27°C) or rising
above 86°F (30°C). Greatview, with its hilltop
location, is consistently cooled by ocean breezes during
the day and breezes off the mountains at night. (Bedrooms
are air-conditioned.)
